if you have a non-versioned filename or folder of the same name as a cvs versioned folder in your path or sandbox, you need to move it out of the way for cvs to do its work. I update my sandbox. I get the message: move away [filename]; it is in the way. 2. I delete my local sandbox copy (using Ctrl + Backspace). 3. I update it again. No problems. 4. I update it a third time. I get the same message. I'm using: Wincvs 2.1.1.1 build 1 Vista Home Premium I looked through the mailing list but I wasn't able to find a solution. Thanks.
