WinCVS nothing happens when run

WinCVS suddenly nothing happens after execution

I used to run WinCVS without problems. I might have uninstalled some software, but after deinstalling and cleaning registry I still get the same effect with any wincvs version I have:

On command line it just exits without any message.
In gui, also nothing happens..

I searched the list, but it didn't help.

Would be great if anybody can help, cvs  in the command line works, but I liked wincvs better..
