Problem installing gcvs on ubuntu 12.04

Hi,

I am using Ubuntu 12.04(on x86-64). I want to install gcvs 1.0.0-1. It has dependency on libglib1.2(>=1.2.0). In my system i already have libglib2.0-0. But installing .deb file gives error:

Dependency is not satisfiable: libglib1.2(>=1.2.0). 

Does anyone have idea why such issue may arise?
