I'm not convinced about this approach. This will produce something that will run on each platform, but my experience is that those apps become second-class citizens (at least on OS X), because the shared UI paradigms don't fit 100% into the platform. To get these apps behave 100% correctly requires a lot of effort (and probably conditionalized code), too, so often times the better approach is to detach the model, make the model x-platform and have separated, native UIs on top of the model.
But this is probably something that - as Guy suggested - should be discussed in the developer list, rather than here...
