Hi,
I've finally got TortoiseCVS versions 1.9.12 and above to work by
installing the MSVC2005 redistributable.
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=3D65127&clcid=3D0x409
(I'm running WinXP SP2, but it wasn't working previously there either.)

It seems VC2005 has some tens of very confusing pages on "VC++
application deployment", so I really can't blame anyone and can only
feel once again happy for not having to program C++ ;-)

Cheers,
