TortoiseCVS 1.8.0 (stable) Release Candidate 3 has been released

The maintainers of the PuTTY SSH client, which is the basis for the
TortoisePlink SSH client included with TortoiseCVS, have announced a
serious security hole (see
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/).
An updated version of TortoisePlink, which fixes the security hole, is
included in TortoiseCVS 1.8.0 RC 3. If you do not desire to use this
version of TortoiseCVS, but you do wish to close the security hole, I
recommend that you install 1.8.0 RC 3, copy the TortoisePlink.exe file
somewhere safe, reinstall your old TortoiseCVS version, and finally copy
the new TortoisePlink.exe into the TortoiseCVS folder, overwriting the
old version.
