Thanks for the response Arthur.

I found a workaround by checking out the module to the local hard drive
then copying the complete folder to the shared drive.

I also found out that a couple of other people on the project using
shared drives had the same problem.

This is a CVS client error, I don't think this has anything to do with
the TortoiseCVS GUI.

If you are using the (default) CVSNT client then I suggest:
1) you upgrade it to the latest 2.5.04 stable or 2.5.05 test release
2) if the error still occurs then report it on the CVSNT newsgroup.

Be sure if reporting it on the CVSNT newsgroup you supply the required
info, in particular the relavent part of a trace, server and client OS
and CVS/CVSNT versions, filesystem type etc etc:
