Thanks for the response Arthur. I found a workaround by checking out the module to the local hard drive then copying the complete folder to the shared drive. I also found out that a couple of other people on the project using shared drives had the same problem. Thanks, John. -----Original Message----- From: Arthur Barrett [mailto:arthur.barrett-qn/[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, March 10, 2009 3:24 PM To: Wardle, John; tortoisecvs-users-5NWGOfrQmneRv+LV9MX5uipxlwaOVQ5f@public.gmane.org Subject: RE: [TortoiseCVS] Shared drive file size limit. John, > cvs [checkout aborted] writing <filename> Invalid parameter. This is a CVS client error, I don't think this has anything to do with the TortoiseCVS GUI. If you are using the (default) CVSNT client then I suggest: 1) you upgrade it to the latest 2.5.04 stable or 2.5.05 test release 2) if the error still occurs then report it on the CVSNT newsgroup. http://www.cvsnt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/ Be sure if reporting it on the CVSNT newsgroup you supply the required info, in particular the relavent part of a trace, server and client OS and CVS/CVSNT versions, filesystem type etc etc: http://www.march-hare.com/cvspro/faq/faq2.asp#2z Regards, Arthur ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
