Hello! I have a situation where I have keywords in the code but I don't want them to be updated when I commit (because I need to keep the original keyword values that come from another repository: I copy them over manually). I found that I should use command "update –ko". Now if I copy over files with already existing keyword values (which I don't want to be changed in my repository) and then commit them, they get updated and the green icon shows that they are up-to-date. On my checked-out version the keywords really have not been updated what is what I want. But if I open the repository with ViewVC, the keywords there have still been substituted, the author and revision included. Is there a way that CVS would actually treat all the keyword marks as a normal text and do not convert them at any time?
