Torsten et al, Any chance you can advise what changes were made to wxWidgets 2.6.3 for these commits: http://tortoisecvs.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/tortoisecvs/TortoiseCVS/wx w/lib/vc8/wxmsw26u_core.lib?view=log&pathrev=tortoisecvs-1-10-x Specifically: 1. 'Rebuilt with correct Unicode settings.' (presumably changes to the project files...) and 2. 'Fixed bug 1560748: Crash on "Tag...".' (I checked the bug and there are no helpful comments) and 3. 'Merged from HEAD.' since a merge wouldn't generate a new revision if there were no changes... All of the items 1, 2 and 3 could have been 'accidental commits' when you were fixing something else and just did a commit and accidentally picked up a re-compiled copy of wxWidgets library, but I thought that it's probably worth me checking... If it's easier - can you just e-mail me a zip of your wxwidgets build env (if you still have it)... > Also - are you aware that either wxwidgets or tortoisecvs is affected > by the visual studio atl bug(s) CVE-2009-0901, CVE-2009-2493 and > CVE-2009-2495? > http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms09-035.mspx > > I wouldn't think so - but we are re-compiling all our commercially > released software that even looks a little bit like a COM object > (including TortoiseShell) just to keep the IT departments of our > customers happy.
