TortoiseCVS, WinCVS etc are all GUI's not clients.  CVSNT is the client
and there is also a CVSNT server.  CVSNT is CVS with additional
functions and features that the NONGNU CVS team felt were not features
that CVS needed (hence CVSNT is NoT CVS).  CVSNT client and the server
runs on Mac, HPUX, Solaris etc etc (and windows), but TortoiseCVS is a
windows GUI (though since it is written with wxWidgets it could feasibly
be ported to another OS).
