Hi, I use Tortoise CVS version 1.10.7 with CVS server 2.5.03 (Scorpio). I have some problems with .obj (binary) files. When I try to commit these files the CVS server says to me: cvs server: user 'bardelli' is not a valid editor of the file 'CONTROL.OBJ' It's very strange because I have some .obj file with which I can use edit command (these files have a little lock icon), but the CONTROL.OBJ file has the normal orange icon that indicate that I need to commit it. Furthermore I'm not be able (there isn't "edit" command in the popup menu!) to "edit" this file (operation that I suppose to do, because this is a binary file), like for the files that have the lock icon. The CONTROL.OBJ file is not edited by anyone, I use "show edited files" command. Do you have any idea abot this problem? It's quite insidious for me because I have to commit some .obj files... Thank you in advance.
