I know this won't help much, but I have exactly the same problem with the latest stable TortoiseCVS. I don't know what changed since 1.10.10, but everything was working perfectly. Server is running CVSNT 2.5.04 (under Ubuntu Server)...

Subject: [TortoiseCVS] Problem with accented characters

Hi,

in my compagny, we have a CVS server on linux. We use it from years with TortoiseCVS on XP machines.

I get a new Windows 7 machine and I install the last version of Tortoise (1.12.5). Installation works fine. I check-out my modules. Some file and folders have name with accented characters (like éàè, ...). In Windows 7, these characters appears like a question mark...

Am I missing a parameter ?

Thank you
