Ashutosh/Vincent, SSPI and TortoiseCVS work OK on Windows 7 including Windows 7 x64. We have many customers using CVS Suite 2009 in exactly this combination. The community installers and software are maintained by the community and it sounds like you may have found some sort of bug, but as Torsten explained - we need more informationed, eg: the exact error message. Ashutosh - If right clicking the desktop crashes - on a new PC that sounds like something new. Would you mind uninstalling TortoiseCVS and trying the 'CVS Suite 2009' trial? This is a different 'build' and also a different 'version' of the same software, so that test wont help debug the 12.5 release but it may help a little (if the suite crashes too then it will send us a crash dump whih we can analyze). The machine is on a domain. The user who did the installation had administrative rights. TortoiseCVS works ok with his login. The issue arises when another user with administrative rights logs on to the same machine. The right click on the desktop crashes the explorer. The cause of the error is listed as the integration with the Tortoise shell. The moment Tortoise is uninstalled, the error goes away. Any clues on how to overcome this?
