CVSNT version without nagging?

I just installed the latest TortiseCVS version (1.12.5), and the
included CVSNT version (2.5.05, build 3744) has some nasty surprises
when you use it from the command line.
When you use Tortise to do commits, everything is fine.
If you use CVSNT from the command line to do commits, it adds 3 lines
to every commit message:

"Committed on the Free edition of March Hare Software CVSNT Client."
"Upgrade to CVS Suite for more features and support:"
"http://march-hare.com/cvsnt/"

Also it occasionally does a pop-up window asking you to buy their
stuff (screen shot attached).


Apparently this used to affect TortiseCVS as well, and was fixed after
bug 3136429, and I can confirm that these do NOT show up when I do
commits from Tortise.

Is there any way for me to disable this insanity? A pop-up window is
annoying enough, but changing my commit messages is beyond
appropriate.

I could switch to some other variant of CVS, but I'd rather keep
Tortise on here to ease communications with other team members (they
aren't real command line guys, and if they need to do something on my
computer, I want them to have the right tools already to hand).

I COULD just do all my commits via Tortise (and I will for now), but I
find the fact that CVSNT was silently messing with my commit messages
to be quite scary and inappropriate.
