With all due respect, Subversion 1.2.0 has been released for nearly 2 1/2 years now. Subversion has since released several patches atop that, the entire 1.3.x and 1.4.x lines, and is now closing in on a Subverion 1.5.0 release. That your distribution is stuck in a time warp with respect to its Subversion coverage is, in my opinion, the fault of the distribution. Of course, you needn't be trapped by your distribution's choice of a Subversion release. You *can* always build a much, much newer Subversion from source if you so desire. -- C.
