[viewvc-dev] Release 1.1.0 of viewvc

Good afternoon,

 

There is something which is not working correctly regarding the "highlight" feature inside viewvc 1.1.0.

This is regarding the "mime types file(s)" configuration. When the script "viewvc.py" is called because

a source file of a repository is opened from viewvc, the highlight is not working with viewvc 1.1.0.

On the other end, if we use the viewvc.py script of the viewvc 1.1.0-beta version, the highlight works.

 

I've no knowledge about the python script language. However I've tried to compare the both versions

of the file viewvc.py, and when I take the version 1.1.0 and I just replace the part of code regarding the

mime type with the code of the beta version, then the highlight feature works also with the version 1.1.0.

 

Here is the code that is different between the 2 versions (on the left it's the version 1.1.0; on the right

it's the beta version):

 

 

 

In the "viewvc.conf" file, I've this value for the "mime_types_file" parameter:

mime_types_file = C:/SVN_server_programs/Apache2.2.11/conf/original/mime.types

 

I don't know if it's really a bug, or if my configuration is bad. However, if I replace this part of code, then

it works.
