There are already two available schemas.  The original schema was taken
wholesale from Bonsai, if I understand the history correctly.  I added a new
revision of the schema that made some small changes, most importantly a new
index on the comment field.  I'd be okay with introducing (in ViewVC 1.2.0,
*not* ViewVC 1.1.x) a new schema that allowed each version control system to
store information in a fashion that's most suitable to that VC system.  But
be forewarned that I anticipate much design work required here.
