Bogdan,

Sorry to hear about your troubles.  Unfortunately, this community doesn't
generate distribution-specific packages.  Our only "deliverable" is the
source code tarball/zip archives.

I searched the Gentoo bug tracker and was unable to locate a bug that
seemed similar to our Issue #539.  Perhaps if you were to file such an
issue, their package maintainers would understand the necessity of rolling
out either a newer ViewVC package, or at least one based on 1.1.20 that has
the (small) patch included which addresses Issue #539.

In the meantime, I suggest you edit your installed ViewVC code as shown in
the patch presented in http://viewvc.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=539
and fix this problem locally for yourself.  After all, the fix really is as
simple as adding a single comma character. :-)
