[Please keep the discussion list cc:ed for the benefit of all] If you are running ViewVC under Apache, sometimes the Apache error_log has some revealing information. Also, the graph page is a distinct ViewVC request from the graph image itself, so if you are getting a page with a broken image, trying hitting the image's source URL directly (to check for exceptions).
