With the default templates, you can certainly link to specific lines in a ViewVC markup file. Here's an example: http://svn.collab.net/viewvc/svn/trunk/README?view=markup#l30 And I'm pretty sure that you could even tweak the templates and/or stylesheet so that the line referenced in the link would be highlighted. (Perhaps by populating some styles for the ":target" class?) -- C.
