Allow me to hit you myself, then, metaphorically speaking, because another possible blind spot I forgot to mention in my flurry of previous chatter is that the work of getting the path-based authz stuff finished for the so-deemed experimental version control backends (which includes the one you are using to serve up views of remote Subversion repositories) is to date incomplete.
