Your paths reveal that you've installed not just 'svn 1.6.6', but
CollabNet's Subversion server package.  That package is only available for
Linux platforms in a Red Hat flavor, so that it doesn't work on SuSe comes
as not so much of a surprise.  You should annoy my comrades at CollabNet
until they release a SuSe package :-) or consider using the native packages
for Subversion and ViewVC provided by that distribution (if any).
