[viewvc-users] Filter commit logs by user/author ?

I was looking for a way to look at a log of changes that have happened to a 
repository, or subsection there-in, but only by one user.  The ?view=log 
output is *almost* what I want, except that there appears to way to specify a 
filter on which revision/log entries are displayed.

  Is there a mechanism by which you can view in a list, or even on a sequence 
of pages (as when viewing an individual revision with 
?view=revision&revision=), but to have the list or sequence only show 
revisions made by a selected user?

  I was even thinking that it might just make sense to build some basic 
filtering into the normal view_log output, to optionally limit by revision 
number, or date, or author, etc.

  Does this feature exist somewhere I haven't found it?  If not, does anyone 
else agree that it would be valuable?
