Yes, that is true (and very strange). This is the content of the tags:

head	1.1;
access;
symbols
	EPv1_0_6:1.1
	EPv1_0_5:1.1
	EPv1_0_4:1.1
	EPv1_0_3:1.1
	EPv1_0_1:1.1
	test:1.1
	EPv1_0_2:*;
locks; strict;
comment	@# @;

The last one has an asterisk. This tag is my application version and was added in a single step on the complete directory using TortoiseCVS. Other files in that same directory have a normal revision number after the EPv1_0_2 tag (i.e.: EPv1_0_2:1.2).

The repository is a copy of a CVS repository (CVS version 1.12.9) thas is running on a linux machine (Suse 9.2). On that same machine, I have a VIEWCVS 0.9.3 (Python 2.3.4) which seems to go over this anomaly.

Is there a way to disable transfering tags to the database? I don't really need them there.
