You aren't using 1.2.0, because 1.2.0 hasn't been released. You might be using a 1.2.0-dev snapshot, which is an unofficial release taken from code that's considered in-progress, not stable. I strongly recommend that you use ViewVC 1.1.6 instead, which was released today.
