[viewvc-users] Python diff indentation at SourceForge

My apologies if this has been discussed before but
Google seemed to have tens of thousands of hits no
matter what words I tried, so that I couldn't find it.

Also, I apologize if this should have been directed to
SourceForge instead of you people (but I am only a
humble user and don't really understand these things).

Anyway, at SourceForge I occasionally look at the
difference between two revisions of a Python source
file, and it says at the bottom of the page that it is
being produced with your ViewVC.

If an "if" conditional line has been inserted above some
already-existing line(s) of code, and the subsequent
already-existing line(s) of code then indented (by four
spaces), your ViewVC page only highlights the added
new "if" line and shows the already-existing line(s) of
code as being unchanged.  Or so it seems to me, in
my web browser.

Is this intentional?  Am I wrong?  Can it be changed?
(Maybe flag those already-existing line(s) of code with
a different color, meaning "white-space-only changed"
or something?)  Etc.
