[viewvc-users] Error during install

Hey there.

Maybe someone can help me. I'm trying to get ViewVC installed, I've 
never used it before. I've been following the instructions in INSTALL. 
You can read about my progress blow-by-blow over here [1].

When I try to run,

  # bin/standalone.py -r /var/svn/pcrepo

I get the following error:

  : No such file or directory

Seeing as that didn't work, I tried to run the installer:

  # ./viewvc-install

But I get the same error:

  : No such file or directory

I'm not sure how to go about debugging this problem, and I'd appreciate 
any help anyone can give me.
