I suppose that depend on which box you're pulling from.  :-)

Are you running a ViewVC installed from the source distribution, or
something pulled in via your server's package management system?  Our
Pygments integration uses MIME types to determine what kind of syntax to
expect in the given file -- are you making use of a MIME types mapping file
(the 'mime_types_files' configuration option) or have Subversion's
svn:mime-type property set on the files in question?
