[viewvc-users] ViewVC database missing directories

I was looking at the commit history/database for our
subversion server just now, and noticed that a commit
wasn't there. I worried that maybe it was too old, but
noticed that all commits to the beginning of the
repository are there, just there are some (at
least one) that there's no record of at all in the database.
Eventually, I was able to figure out that the database tracks
commits to files. But, the commit I noticed missing was an
addition of an empty directory. It has a revision, and a
log message (aka description), all of which ViewVC will show
me in directory view mode, but none of that is in the
commit database.
I'm running 1.1.13 now, but am sure the database was
initialized while I was running 1.1.9, or something older.
Does anyone have any idea if this is a known issue, and
if there's any way to allow directory operations to also
be stored in the database?
Thank you.
