Hrm.  Well, I must believe that if truly "nothing" changed, there should be
"no changes" in the observed behavior.  :-)  Unfortunately, I can't think of
anything besides the sort of obvious stuff to check:

   - Do the Python bindings work?
   - Is the repository itself corrupted somehow?
   - Do the authz rules (within ViewVC's authorizer, if used) permit access?
