[viewvc-users] DELETED httpd.conf

I have had Rancid, viewvc, Observium running all on the same server for about two months, with no issues. Today, for no reason other than it's Monday, I was looking to add basic authentication through the Apache server, and I accidentally/insanely deleted the httpd.conf file from /etc/apache2/

Of course, like a good admin, I had no backup file, and I have to recreate that file. I'm hoping that someone can assist me, because I wasted lots of potentially productive time and I'm failing at this.

Currently I have this in the viewvc.conf as the only change:
cvs_roots = cvsroot: /usr/local/rancid/var/CVS/mvsnetwork/configs

One item additional, I uninstalled/reinstalled viewvc to try and walk through the configuration again, to no avail.

As far as what I've been up to in trying to recreate that httpd.conf file, the original file only had two lines (which I don't recall). If I have a blank file, then Everything else is fine, I just, naturally get a 404 error for the viewvc cvs repositories.

Here are some of the lines that I had attempted to use-to no good effect-as the ScriptAliases:
ScriptAlias /viewvc /cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi
ScriptAlias /viewvc "/usr/local/rancid/var/CVS/mvsnetwork"
ScriptAlias /viewvc "/var/www/viewvc/bin/cgi/viewvc.cgi"
--GETS:
[cid:[email protected]]
So, it's safe to say that the apache server isn't finding the directory. I just can't recall what I had done in the first place to have it working.

I realize that the whole cgi thing is supposed to serve up requests like http://IPADDRESS/viewvc/viewvc.cgi/etc as the files pointed to by viewvc.
