Please consider to append the following paragraph to this
answer in the FAQ document:

For example on Ubuntu Linux the following command::
sudo apt-get python-svn
will install the missing package. Using the
words „python” and „svn“ or „python“ and
„subversion“ as search terms in the package manager of
your Linux operation system will very likely point to the
required package.
