No -- at least, not already codified in the software.  This request is
tracked in http://viewvc.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=133, which is
ancient and has a nearly-as-ancient patch attached.  But the patch itself
is a bit overreaching, and over time there's been some churn in the
affected code regions which almost certainly would prevent the patch from
applying cleanly or of serving as a comprehensive solution.  Sorry about
that.
