Mike, Sloppy wording on my part. Yes authentication is done courtesy of Apache configuration, not viewvc directly. I'm working with other groups internally that have already worked out the exact Apache syntax to connect to our LDAP services, so that should not be a problem. I'm using some bits of svn 1.9 svnserve syntax for path based authorization, (a new ** wildcard rule set), which will be different than the Apache format.
