Probably still has holes. to use set DefaultClientCodepage and switch server to unicode. Testing this is quite hard.. OSX is all utf8, Linux is all utf8.. you have to force the client OS into a non-utf8 codepage and you can't use a remote terminal because they can't send the extended characters correctly - all testing must be done on the (non utf8) console. I can't see many people using this....
