If you don't mind applying patches: the three patches I committed
some weeks ago to the OpenBSD ports tree should be enough to build
darcs-2.12.5 with ghc-8.2. See patch-Setup_lhs, patch-darcs_cabal and
patch-darcs_darcs_hs on

To get the plaintext patches, select the revision number in the
list and then the download link for each separate patch.

But please note that I didn't run the test suite (this still needs
some OpenBSD specific changes) nor am I shure wether it would still
build with older versions of ghc.
