I actually rebooted it yesterday evening when I saw Henning's mail, but
forgot to actually reply to say I'd done it. It was the second time in a
few days, as I'd noticed a similar problem myself at the weekend and
rebooted it then too. The second time I had a quick look and it looked
like the OOM killer had killed off the gitit process.
