I'm liking the idea of running a read replica on the same machine, which can
be verified, halted, and backed up independent of the main server. Ideally
I'd have a second machine, but that will probably have to wait for now. I
have done a couple of restores on the data we have so far, and it was pretty
straightforward to get a second server instance running on the same hardware.
