Posted on behalf of forum user 'DaveCh'. Yes, didn't seem to help - it seems to depend on how long I wait. Got the RSS message yesterday about the new version of P4V. Looked at the version number and release notes on the web site, all updated, used the download button and got the right one - that's around 12 hours after the RSS. Got another RSS message today about a new P4VS. Looked at the version number and release notes on the web site, all updated, used the download button and got the old one - that's around 1 hour after the RSS. At this moment, the FTP site is hosting the new version (r17.2/bin.ntx86/p4vs.vsix) but when I click Download via the web site it downloads p4vs11.vsix, the old version (says it's from cdist2.perforce.com). If I give it a few hours and try again I'm sure it'll work.
