[p4] Docked tabs aren't visible

Posted on behalf of forum user 'P4Reg'. Hi Jeff If the layout has got really messed up you could try regenerating the P4V preferences. 1. Close P4V 2. Rename or delete the p4qt preferences files. You can follow the steps outlined in the following KB article to locate these preference files and then rename the p4qt folder: Locating Preferences Files for P4V [http://answers.perforce.com/articles/KB/2911] Note that this will reset all personal settings (connections/custom tools/non-default options) previously set for P4V 3.
