[p4] Can't Re-assign changelist

Posted on behalf of forum user 'P4Jen'. Are you trying to shelve the pending change so it can be unshelved by the other user? If so I suggest trying it using 'p4', as this will help rule out whether or not this is a P4V issue. This KB provides instructions: http://answers.perforce.com/articles/KB/2531 If using P4 does not work then I suggest contacting Perforce Support if you have a support contract to discuss this further. IF using P4 does work, then enabling P4V logging and reproducing the issue, will show you which commands P4V is running. You may wish to post this output here so users can help you trouble shoot the issue better. Or if you do have a support contract you can send them to support if you need our assistance.
