FWIW, if I'm interpreting "Windows specific paths as their roots"
correctly, we had the same issue - our 'depot' depot has a root of
"e:\p4\depot". On the Linux server this just means there is
an "e:" folder in P4ROOT. We symlink'ed it to a different location
and haven't worried about it since.
