Posted on behalf of forum user 'daveg'. This was run from the command line, not P4 perl. The client version is... % p4 -V Perforce - The Fast Software Configuration Management System. Copyright 1995-2011 Perforce Software. All rights reserved. Rev. P4/LINUX26X86_64/ 2011.1 /393975 (2011/12/16). I don't get to decide what version of p4 the server uses... BUT someone in the know says this one's supposed to be more current than this. So there's hope. But the real good news is that this seems to work OK when I run it through P4 perl. I don't understand why.
