Posted on behalf of forum user 'Metalphantom'. So I used my laptop on a different network to try and connect to my server at my house. I got a different error message than my friend got: "Perforce Client error: Connect to server failed; check $P4PORT. TCP connect to seniorproject.ddns.net:1666 failed. connect: (global IP):1666: WSAETIMEDOUT."
