Posted on behalf of forum user 'Matt Janulewicz'. If this is for p4d, it sorta creeps me out that there are packages for that anyway because it's pretty easy to 'yum update' or 'apt-get update' and inadvertently update p4d and break everything, especially if your Linux servers are patched by someone else (IT). The 'nothing but packages' policy seems weird. SDP seems like the safer way to go ( https://swarm.workshop.perforce.com/projects/perforce-software-sdp ) -- Please click here to see the post in its original format: http://forums.perforce.com/index.php?/topic/5648-debian-stretch-no-packages-available _______________________________________________ perforce-user mailing list - [email protected] http://maillist.perforce.com/mailman/listinfo/perforce-user
