Posted on behalf of forum user 'Miles O'Neal'. We have a couple of dozen license files, each tied to a server:port combination. We have these for replicas and for dev/test servers. They all cover the same set of users, so there is no charge for the additional licenses. When we renew the subscriptions, we get copies of each updated license file. When we request a new one (via the web form), we usually have it by end of the business day- sometimes much sooner. We run multiple instances on some hosts, each on a separate port (with separate license file). -- Please click here to see the post in its original format: http://forums.perforce.com/index.php?/topic/5683-is-it-legal-to-start-some-p4d-daemon-at-same-server-with-same-licence-listen-different-ports _______________________________________________ perforce-user mailing list - [email protected] http://maillist.perforce.com/mailman/listinfo/perforce-user
