Here’s what’s new from Perforce in April.

Support for Multi-Factor Authentication
The latest versions of your Helix Core server (P4D), clients and plugins now
offer support for multi-factor authentication. MFA support is now available in
the following product versions or later:

- Helix Core (P4D) 2017.2

- Command-Line Client (P4) 2018.1

- Helix Visual Client (P4V) 2018.2

- Helix Plugin for Windows Explorer (P4EXP) 2018.2

- Helix Plugin for Visual Studio (P4VS) 2018.2

- Helix Plugin for Eclipse (P4Eclipse) 2018.1

- Helix Swarm 2018.1

After your Perforce admin has set up MFA on your Helix Core server, when users
try to access the server from Helix Command-Line (P4), Helix Visual Client
(P4V), or the Helix plugins, they will be required to provide additional
authentication factors as defined by their administrator.
