Well, if ‘-m’ is solved for 5.8, then that solution has to be supported
in 5.9 (and beyond), so adding ‘rcs COMMAND’ for 5.8 would be less of a
hassle long-term.  I'll try to do it for 5.8 (w/o new commands).
