sourceforge pserver is known bad. Should VCP work around?

And, googling, looks like sf.net's CVS servers are just wonky. The recommended procedure is to use ssh to connect, but even then it's not necessarily reliable. But it raises the issue: should we build retry logic in to VCP's cvs wrapper for those two specific messages? - Barrie
