You should be looking for anything about that fourth repository which is different from the other three. The problem could in fact be something very subtle. Another possibility is to clear out the so-called treecache files on your client machine: cd %appdata% cd sourcegear cd vault_1 cd client dir In there, you will probably see four directories with four big long hex strings as their names. Each one corresponds to a repository. cd into any of them cd (your Vault user name) dir In there, you find several files that start with CacheMember. If these files get messed up somehow, Vault can have trouble. It's possible that one of your repositories has these files messed up but the other three do not. Deleting those CacheMember_ files will force them to be rebuilt, thus clearing any potential problem which might be happening there. It's not going to be easy to figure out which long hex string corresponds to the repository which is annoying you. However, deleting all of them is harmless, as long as you don't mind waiting a little bit for them to be recreated. Having said all that, the fact that you can login and see things just fine in the Vault client does suggest that there actually is no problem with your CacheMember_* files. -- Eric Sink Software Craftsman http://software.ericsink.com/ -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Roger Jakobsson Sent: Tuesday, December 16, 2003 9:11 AM To: [email protected] Subject: SV: [vault-list] FinalBuilder and Vault Hmm... This is really strange. It works against 3 of our 4 repositories, but the forth one: no! And they all have the same access rights, tried with both the admin and myself. Both admin and me can access the folders from the Vault client, but not from FB. Any more suggestions? /Roger -----Ursprungligt meddelande----- Från: Mike Gunderloy [mailto:[email protected]] Skickat: den 16 december 2003 15:37 Till: Roger Jakobsson Ämne: RE: [vault-list] FinalBuilder and Vault Working fine here, FB 2.0.2.441 plus Vault 1.2.1. The only thing I can think of offhand is that if you're using folder security, check the server options tab on the Get action to make sure you're giving it login info for a user that has access to the folders.
